# List all calendar event kinds

> Returns a list of all calendar event kinds defined at the organization level. The calendar event kinds are sorted by creation date, with the most recent appearing first.

A **calendar event kind** categorizes calendar events (e.g., staff meeting, lunch break, training). Event kinds help distinguish between different types of non-appointment blocks on a calendar.
